Products can be copied in a weekend and everyone is fighting for attention. Trust is the one thing a competitor cannot ship. A community builds it, and every turn makes the next one cheaper.
Every turn costs less and reaches further.
1
People meet
Useful events bring the right people into one room, again and again.
2
Trust builds
Repeat contact turns attendees into members who know your team.
3
Members talk
They post, recommend and bring friends, which is reach you do not pay for.
4
More people come
New members, partners and hires arrive, and the next event fills faster.
Every turn costs less and reaches further.
How do we help tech companies?
We build and run communities for your company, under your brand and for your members, from wherever you are starting.
Build your community from zero
No community yet? We design it end to end, from who it is for and why they come to its name and look, then run the first events.
community strategy and audience research
positioning, name and tone
visual identity: logo, colours and event templates
first events and founding members
Revive a quiet community
A Discord nobody posts in, or events nobody comes to? We find out why, fix the basics and give members a reason to return.
an audit of members, channels and past events
interviews with members on what would bring them back
new formats and a calendar people can plan around
a reactivation push and the first comeback events
Launch your community in Europe
Strong in the US or at home, but missing in Europe? We open your community in European cities with local hosts, venues and speakers, under your brand.
city selection
local hosts, venues and speakers
pilot events in each city, in English or German
one online space linking new members to your global community
We run your community for you
It works, but nobody has time for it? We take over the calendar, the events and the members, with regular reporting, ongoing or until your own team takes over.
a recurring event calendar, planned and run
venue, speaker and partner sourcing
on-site hosting, check-in and welcomes
regular reporting and a handover playbook
Build your ambassador programme
Need people on the ground? We select, train and support the local hosts who represent you, with clear terms, the way our own hosts run AI BEAVERS chapters.
selection criteria and recruitment
onboarding, training and host kits
recognition and conduct rules
clear terms on compensation and expenses

Who is behind AI BEAVERS?
Alexander Zakharov and Vladyslav Nyzhashchyy (Alex and Vlady) started AI BEAVERS in Hamburg in 2025. Between them they are Cursor, ElevenLabs and Anthropic ambassadors, and AI BEAVERS leaders in other cities lead community programmes for OpenAI, Anthropic and Qwen.
What do top community builders say about working with us?
Community and developer relations leads at Cursor and CodeRabbit.
“
The hackathon we did together was a big, complicated project, and it ran as if Alex and Vlady had been doing this for years. The results were strong. Impressive what these guys are building.
We've done a lot of events together. A hackathon, a founder dinner, and plenty more. People were fully in it every time, start to finish. That doesn't happen over and over by accident. If I were building a community, I'd want Alex and Vlady running it.
We design, launch and run in-person communities for tech companies, under the company's own brand and for its own members. We start from where you are: we build a community from zero, including strategy, positioning and visual identity; bring a quiet community back to life; launch a community that is strong elsewhere in European cities; run a working community for a team that has no time; or set up an ambassador and host programme. We also set up the online space that keeps members connected between events, often WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord or Slack. It supports the in-person work; it is not the result.
What is included in each engagement?
Build your community from zero: community strategy and audience research, positioning, name and tone, visual identity: logo, colours and event templates and first events and founding members. Revive a quiet community: an audit of members, channels and past events, interviews with members on what would bring them back, new formats and a calendar people can plan around and a reactivation push and the first comeback events. Launch your community in Europe: city selection, local hosts, venues and speakers, pilot events in each city, in English or German and one online space linking new members to your global community. We run your community for you: a recurring event calendar, planned and run, venue, speaker and partner sourcing, on-site hosting, check-in and welcomes and regular reporting and a handover playbook. Build your ambassador programme: selection criteria and recruitment, onboarding, training and host kits, recognition and conduct rules and clear terms on compensation and expenses.
We already have a community. Can you still help?
Yes. If it went quiet, we audit members, channels and past events, interview members about what would bring them back, and run the first comeback events. If it works but nobody has time for it, we run the calendar, the events and the members for you, ongoing or until your own team takes over. If you need people on the ground, we design or fix your ambassador and host programme.
Can you launch our community in Europe?
Yes. If your community is strong in the US or your home market but missing in Europe, we pick the cities with you, find local hosts, venues and speakers, and run pilot events in English or German under your brand. One online space links the new members to your global community, and we add cities once the first one works. Our base is Hamburg, Germany, with local chapters across Europe.
Why invest in in-person community?
Because people trust people they have met. A room of users who know each other and your team turns into advocates, honest product feedback, hiring reach and lasting relationships that support adoption when the product is a genuine fit. A community cannot make up for a product nobody wants.
Why is community a moat for tech companies?
Because features can be copied quickly and attention is expensive, but trust cannot be copied. A community compounds: people meet at useful events, repeat contact builds trust, members post about you and bring others, and the next event fills faster with less paid reach. A competitor can ship your feature in a weekend; it cannot ship the relationships your members already have with each other and with your team.
Do you work with VC funds?
Yes, mostly through introductions. Investors often spot which portfolio companies need a community first. Our one-page summary for funds is at ai-beavers.com/community-building/for-funds. Send it or this page to the founder, or introduce us by email, and we talk with the company's team directly and scope the work with them. To talk about your portfolio first, switch on 'VC fund?' in the enquiry form.
Who is community building for?
Tech companies in Europe, the US and beyond, from AI and developer-tool startups to established software companies. It works best when the product already has users or clear demand.
How does an engagement start?
With a pilot in one city, for one audience. The path is diagnose, agree the baseline, build or repair, activate and report and decide. Depending on scope, a pilot can deliver a programme brief, a first event programme and a community onboarding flow, a moderation and escalation playbook, an ambassador kit, when relevant, an initial programme calendar and an outcome report with a handover or ongoing-operation scope.
What do you measure, and can you guarantee growth?
We cannot guarantee sales, leads or customers. Before we start, we agree a baseline and outcome measures with you, such as first-time attendees, returning members or active hosts, and the sign-ups or product activations you can already track with your own tools. We then report what happened along with its limits, and we do not invent attribution.
Whose community is it?
Yours. Building your community is a separate service from sponsoring ours: we do not transfer member data, sell attendance or ask our members to promote your product. If you want to support AI BEAVERS events instead, see our sponsorship options.
Where can you deliver in person?
Our strongest base is Hamburg, Germany, and our local chapters across Europe. We run events in English or German. We also run an online community with members worldwide, and we scope other markets when local delivery is realistic.
How much does it cost?
We price per scope after a first conversation, and most engagements start with a fixed-scope pilot for one audience and one market. Travel, venues, incentives and software are scoped separately from our fee. There is no standard package, so we do not publish prices.
