What it is
A room of builders, actually shipping.
It started in Hamburg, where founders and builders bring laptops every Friday, work on the thing they actually need to ship, show what moved, and talk through their blockers. build fridays now runs regularly in cities around the world - come work on your thing alongside others doing the same.
Agenda
How the evening runs.
- 4pm
Grab a seat and co-work
Doors open. Find a spot, settle in, and start working on your idea. From 4 to 7 it is relaxed co-working - build your thing and exchange with the people around you.
- 7pm
Intros - 30 seconds each
Everyone gathers around the stage for a short presentation, then a quick intro from each person: what you are building and your biggest problem or blocker. By the end, the room knows who can help who.
- until 11pm
Co-work, mingle, help each other
Back to building. Now you know who is in the room, so it is easy to find the right person, swap feedback, and enjoy the evening.

From people just thinking about starting something, to those actively building, to startup veterans. First-time founders and serial entrepreneurs share the same room. Wherever you are, there is someone a step ahead and someone a step behind.

Name the problem that is slowing you down. Someone in the room has probably solved it before.

Ask for help when you need it. The point of building in the same room is that you do not stay stuck alone.
